CO-FOUNDER, CO-OWNER

Gene Bittinger is a construction professional with over 30 years of contracting and carpentry experience. Gene began his career in carpentry, framing custom homes for about 8 years before working in trim and mill work installation for 2 years. He has 5 years of prior commercial carpentry experience before the founding of G Squared Contracting. Among these particular skills, Gene has worked various carpentry and contracting positions over the course of several years that have helped him develop and refine his expertise in these fields.

Gene began G Squared Contracting with his wife, Ginny, after being continuously dissatisfied with work of other contractors that seemed to lack the attention and vigilance needed in every project. Instead, he wanted to create a business that emphasizes doing the highest quality, detail-oriented work possible with absolutely no shortcuts. Because, not only does Gene seek to be proud of his work and satisfied with each project, but more importantly, he strives to make his customers 100% satisfied with the final results of every project completed.

Ginny Bittinger has over 20 years in administrative and managerial work. Ginny owned and managed her own cleaning business for 10 years before transitioning into a position in the federal government. While working in government full-time, she also managed the office of a local construction business for about 12 years.

Ginny pitched the start of G Squared Contracting. She recognized Gene’s passion for carpentry, the precision and detail he puts into every project, and his ability to manage a team effectively, believing these talents were not being used to their full potential while working under other contractors. Combining their work experiences, with Ginny using her expertise in office management, G Squared was founded and has been operating successfully for almost 4 years.
